This exhibition chronicles the extraordinary life of Vogue model turned war correspondent Lee Miller, a pioneer Surrealist artist, fashion model, and one of the most daring photojournalists of the 20th century.

Leveraging the artist’s relationship with Pablo Picasso, over one hundred photographs, prints, personal objects, and videos explore the tender moments Miller and Picasso shared together during some of the most challenging times of our recent history, captured by Miller before and during the Second World War, the aftermath, and beyond.

Miller first met Picasso in the summer of 1937 whilst holidaying in the South of France. In the ensuing years she photographed the Spanish artist more than 1,000 times and he in turn, painted her portrait six times. The exhibition reveals the love and experiences of their long-lasting friendship.
